Dr. Jones is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing since the mid-40's. Initially, she conducted psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapy. After 25 years, she trained in Primal Therapy and practiced it for over 7 years. Since 1978, she has been practicing Rebirthing exclusively.
She recently retired after 26 years of teaching as a Full Professor at Los Angeles City College. She taught at UCLA for a year after moving to Los Angeles, following 7 years of teaching at the University of Chicago where she had received her Ph.D., as well as her Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
Dr. Jones became a Registered Rebirther immediately after she first trained with Leonard Orr, the innovator of Rebirthing. She is well known by all the original Certified Rebirthers and has worked intensively with each of them.
Because of her unique professional psychological training and experience and the personal attributes she brings to her Rebirthing work, she is known and highly respected and loved throughout the world-wide Rebirthing community.
She has written extensively on Rebirthing and has contributed many chapters on this technique to various professional publications.
She has been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist by the State of California since 1965 when she moved to Los Angeles.
She holds the distinction of being the only Certified Rebirth trainer and Seminar leader, Certified by the original Certified Rebirthers. Over the past 20 years, she has led more than 200 trainings world-wide, training countless thousands in Rebirthing, and has personally Rebirthed several thousand individuals, many of whom have become professional Rebirthers.
Initially, Rebirth Associates of Los Angeles consisted of professional Rebirthers mostly trained by Dr. Jones.  With its entrance in 1999 into the Internet, Rebirth Associates of Los Angeles seeks to extend its services to the entire Online Community.
She's the mother of four grown children and 8 grandchildren. When she isn't Rebirthing clients, she spends a great deal of time taking care of her more than 500 rose bushes and entering her prize roses in rose shows. She also writes a monthly column on roses for the prize-winning Rose Reporter of the Tinseltown Rose Society. She is recognized by the American Rose Society as a Consulting Rosarian and has passed the ARS examination for Horticultural Judge.
